GETTING TO THE MARINA

ACCESS DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS:

Coming from East in the fine weather, pass between Las Amasucas (presently equipped with marker buoys) and Roca Martín. In poor weather, and from North or West in any weather, enter between Las Amasucas and La Piedra de la Concha, leaving at starboard the light buoy of the Príncipe de Asturias dyke.

NIGHT ACCESS::

Identical to daylight access, paying close attention to marker buoys.

ACCESS TO THE PORT DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS::

Pass between the green marker buoy of Sacramento and the red one of Santa Catalina Dyke (between both there is a navigable channel of more than 2.5 meters of TE and around 100 meters wide during low water equinox). While entering, turn to port in order to position yourself between the green marking buoy of Fomento and the red one of Santa Catalina.

ACCESS TO THE PORT AT NIGHT::

Identical to daylight, paying close attention to marker buoys.

The port lies at 16 miles from Cabo Peñas (light grey, octagonal prism tower, reaching 117,5 meters above the sea level?, lighthouse with three flashes every 15 seconds and a radius of 15 miles. In foggy weather, 4 calls every 60 seconds. At 2 miles from the yacht docks is Cabo Torres (rectangular two storey building, octagonal white tower, reaching 81,1 meters above sea level), a lighthouse sends a group of two flashes every 10 seconds, within a radius of 25 miles. In foggy weather, the siren emits the letter “S” in Morse code, every 30 seconds.

ACCESS SIGNAL LIGHTS::

Sacramento: 360º green light, regular signs, 0-3 second flash and 1 second eclipse, within a radius of 4 miles.

Dique Santa Catalina:2-second red light (upper part of its end) every 6 seconds, located on a red painted column, 260º focus, within a radius of 6,5 miles and 8,55 meters altitude.

Fomento: 360º focus green light, 20 seconds every minute and a radius of 3 miles (0,4 second flashes and 2,6 seconds eclipse).

PORT ACCESS LIGHTS:

Sacramento Marker Buoy: regular green flashes (0,3 seconds and 1 second), radius of 4 miles.

Santa Catalina Dyke: 2 groups of regular flashes of 6 seconds (0,4+0,4+0,4+4,8), radius of 6,5 miles.

Fomento curved Dyke: regular green flashes (20 per minute), radius of 6 miles.

Príncipe de Asturias Dyke: 3 green flashes, every 3 s., radius of 6 M.

Outer harbor: 3 green flashes, every 8 seconds

Los Pórticos Dock: occasional green light (2,5 seconds), radius of 6 miles.
